July 21 - The HPWord from my Potterholic Mom

My Mom is Potterholic and she admits it! She started being "Potterish" when she was just 16 years old.  Believe it or not, she fell in LOVE by just looking at the book cover embossed with the lightning "Harry Potter!"  Every night, she dreams of riding the boat to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry; and at day, she fantasizes hopping from one staircase to the next... I know she had a LOT of "Potterdreams" when she was too young but I reckon she never opened to me all.  Maybe she is hesitant to share the romantic story of Lily and Snape because I am too young.  But I guess I understand that love thing...

Probably, you do not believe me stating that my Mom is Potterholic.  In order to prove, she got this "Chamber of Secrets" pencil when she was just 18 years old.  In fact, she never gets this sharpened for 10 years!

Another proof is this bunch of old but treasured stickers.  My Aunt bought these as a present for her 20th  Birthday.
Another is this coin bank that safe-keeps her "Muggle" money and I guess her "Wizard" money: Galleons for gold, Sickles for silver and Knuts for bronze.
One of my favorite stuff of my mom is this 2002 Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone X game (by Warner Brothers, Inc.) I would say this is my favorite because I can only look at it with full of hope. She does not want me to touch this. I am already 7 years old, but I never get the smallest chance to play this interactive game. It is fine with me. Anyway, I am so lucky this 2012! My Papa bought me a PSP so that I could play The Order of The Phoenix and The Half-Blood Prince before I sleep.

I told you that I am 7 years old but I did not reveal my name yet. Can you guess? My first name is Hermione, after the "Always the Smart-One" student, according to Professor Snape. I was born in 2005. My mom told herself when she was pregnant that I would grow as lovely and smart as Hermione Granger. And that is true because I am active in school. I am always chosen in singing and dancing activities. I am the only kid so she wishes to have a boy to be named "Sirius Rad." Sirius is from Harry Potter's Godfather Sirius Black and Rad is the short-term for the element Radium (she loves Science) and the famous Daniel Radcliffe.
